Dressing The Skin Grafting

In result of the 3rd degree..(I guess) burned on lower right arm and partial of lower left arm of K.Long, my SIL, she had to undergo a skin grafting surgery. A 'good' skin graft was harvested from her higher left leg and being place and staples at the affected area. Prior to that, every 3 days she has to go for the dressing on affected area.

A dressing is an adjunct used by a person for application to a wound in order to promote healing and/or prevent further harm. A dressing is designed to be in direct contact with the wound, which makes it different from a bandage, which is primarily used to hold a dressing in place. Dressings are frequently used in first aid and nursing.

These videos showing how the dressing was done to Kak Long hand 2 weeks after skin grafting operations... Scary.. like snake skin peel off.. with a shed of blood...

Flying By Fireflyz

After some times, we heading back to Kelantan on Thursday. Our last trip to Kelantan was in January 09, on my BIL wedding... This time we travel by Fireflyz - Your Community Airline. With their new plane the ATR-500 which can carry around 76++ passenger at a time. The Subang Airport is also under massive refurbishement.. numerous renovation are taking place at the moment. With my girl around, I only manage to snap some pictures...

Mother's Day

MOTHERS DAY!!?

It make me came into a deep thought. Why are we celebrating mothers day on 10th May every year? Is it the only time we could / should acknowledge them in our life? Day in Day out..they always be there for us.. Sometimes we are happy and laughing together, sometime we are sad and quarreling with each other. What ever condition Mother's love is Unconditional Love.

I received a simple text message from a sister I call Kak Nora.. Her words are simple but I have to really agree with her..

"Salam sister. Once you have your first baby you are a MOTHER. We are the baby sitter, a cook, a driver, a nurse, gardener, teacher, handyman n etc... You name it, we can do it. THATS WHO WE ARE; MOTHERS. For me everyday is mothers day."

Anyway..to all my friend who also a mother...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Marsha 1st Science Project!!

Thursday I pick my girl from Genius Aulad..she's holding a white polystyrene cup..I look into it.. its her 1st science project!! Bestnye..I pulak excited... A few tiny green nuts that will turn into bean sprout eventually... She is also as excited as I am.. The moment she's inside the car she started watering it with her drinking water..

"Girl not too much of water."

"Oh..Nanti dia mati mummy..Asha letak sikiiit je k.."

She love to negotiate with me.. and everytime I said no she will ask "Nape mummy. Kenapa Marsha tak boleh................ " and I have to explain bla..bla..bla.. She is so adorable.. with her she will only close her mouth when she asleep... Kadang2 letih nak melayan..but I enjoy it...
