1st Day @ Genius Aulad

Being so active and high curiosity individual herself, I decided to send my little girl to preschool. Providing her a proper space/place to express herself, develop her potential, channel her energy and feed her curiosity. She's still young, 2 years 8 months at her first day to preschool 3rd February 2009. But I believe she's ready for it. I chose to send her at Genius Aulad, an early education place which stress in their teaching on basic Muslim practice beside a normal ABC, 123, Social skills, computer skills...and many more. 1st day at school there are 2 boys who should be in her same class was crying and did not want to go into the class. She's not.. She's immediately absorb in the system with no hesitation. Even though she didn't follow when the children singing (as she don't know the songs yet) and stand like a stick when the children learn how to perform solah... But for her to be in the group and observing others doing things without running to me (as I was there watching them) I knew that she's ready. My little Princess adapt graciously at her 1st day of school...

Cont..Wedding BIL...Men's House

On the next day after the Ceremony at Bride house, it continues with the event at Groom's House which in Kelantan its normally called Majlis Sambut Menantu (Receiving New Family Member Ceremony) / Majlis Kesyukuran (Thanksgiving Ceremony). The occassion in Ma's house eventhough was done moderatly, for me was rather lively and I could honestly say...then at least I felt like in a real wedding environment... The noise, the conversation & atmosphere seems like Jejak Kasih... where old and far apart family members and friends get together after sooo long not seen each other. Chatting, gossiping, disturbing, havoc with laughter, and some small shed of tears...it make a real dish call wedding ceremony...

Cont..Wedding BIL...Lady's House

In Traditional Malay Wedding after the Akad Nikah, next will be Bersanding (sitting on the decorated platform, Pelamin) followed by berenjis, makan berdamai..etc.etc.. Perhaps one of this days I will be going to a wedding which is complete with all the traditional Malay Wedding Ceremony and posted it in here.. As for BIL wedding, we skip the bersanding ceremony and only proceed with the entourage bringing the Dulang2 Hantaran (Trays of Gifts) for the Bride which then were replied by the Bride side with Trays of Gifts to the Groom..Gifts given by both sides will always be in odd numbers. It could be 3-5, 5-7 or more...

The Groom's Entourage

Customary in Kelantan, in every set Trays of Gifts (both set from Bride and set from Groom) it alawys will consist of one Pulut Semangat. Its a local custom that I figure it out on the day of my own wedding, 4 years back.. Nothing extravaganza, just a cooked glutinous rice will then colored with food coloring and decorated in a tray with bunga telur, a flower which has a hard boiled egg on it. They believe this mean to lift up the spiritual of both the Bride & Groom.

Another different thing I've realize in Kelantan.. In most occasion, men and women is being separated at two different sections. from cashier at Tesco to Wedding ceremony..which there will be different tent for men and women for eating session..

Cont..Wedding BIL...Akad Nikah Series II

Finally I manage to find time to update my blog.. while waiting my car to be service..This is the second badge of pictures series Akad Nikah my BIL.. For Lina, my SIL thanks for being the amateur photographer for the wedding... With one lafaz (say) in front of Qadhi, they were pronounced Husband & Wife..To Eddie and Fathia SEMOGA BERBAHAGIA SEHINGGA KE AKHIR HAYAT...

Some advice to them...sedangkan lidah lagikan tergigit... be matured to handle any situation... apa yang penting communication. Banyakkan berbincang and berkomunikasi dengan pasangan kita. I used to be someone who just dont like to confront other people (even my partner) and just hope someone to realize what had happen and hope everything to change by itself... which is wrong.. How do you aspect people to change if they dont know what is their mistake.. So communicate..
